Project Description

“The lost children: a piece in twenty questions” – a monologue adapted from the book “The lost children: An essay in forty questions” by Valeria Luiselli (winner of the American Book Award and MacArthur Fellow), based on her experiences working as a volunteer translator for migrant children seeking legal representation in the United States. This theatrical adaptation includes interviews with young migrants who are part of Unidad Latina en Acción, an organization that defends the human rights of immigrants in New Haven, CT.
