Project Description

From Buenos Aires, a recital that expands the aesthetic edges of this genre characterized by the poetic value of its lyrics, the melancholic and soft air and the search for intimacy with the audience. On the border between Galicia and Portugal, the melodies of the traditional fados are combined with poems by the Galician-Portuguese troubadours of the 13th century and update this dialogue with significant poets of the 19th and 20th centuries. Navigating the musical waters of that sea, we arrive at the estuary of the Tagus River and disembark in Lisbon, to walk through its streets, forget bad loves and thank the poets and this music that soothes us. A concert in which Gabriela González López and Claudio Méndez once again achieve the perfect assemblage of their interpretative intensities, generating a sound plot that flows and envelops the audience in a surreal atmosphere

Available all day long from December 5 – 21
